Our Club's Story

Our Club's Story

Clywedog Sailing Club is located in the Heart of the Mid Wales countryside on a lake created in 1967 by the construction of the Clywedog Dam. There is a modern well equipped club house with all facilities and disabled access. We have an active youth section and run weekly training and racing tuition for all. We also have full disabled access to the water with hoist and wheelchair accessible jetty. The club in conjunction with Staylittle Outdoor Centre has RYA Training Centre status and Disabilty Centre status. The club is also on the path to RYA Championship club recognition.
